Description

The "villa"
The house dates back to before '900. When rebuilt, the old colonial house was enlarged. It is the centre of a farm of about 40 hectares where among other things, an excellent olive oil is produced.
The villa is situated in the province of Livorno, in the parish of Campiglia Marittima, along the road that leads from Venturina to Suvereto.
The house, situated at the foot of a hill, has a large private park for the guests use, full of century old trees.
About 10km away from the beautiful bay of Baratti the farm, is in the centre of an interesting area for historical and natural sights: Populonia with it's Etruscan burial grounds, the archaeological and natural parks in the 'Val di Cornia' area, the thermal baths called "Calidario", historical villages like Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto and tourist villages like San Vincenzo and Follonica are just a few of the many examples. Artistic cities like Pisa, Siena and Florence are easily reached with an hour and a half drive.

Rooms:

Four double room and one single room cozy, comfortable and bright. All have private bath, air conditioning, heating. TV with digital terrestrial and satellite TV, some with a small refrigerator. The rooms are named by the name of the winds (north, NW, Grecale, Sirocco and Libeccio). The ground floor is located the reception, breakfast room and lounge for guests. Room Grecale, Sirocco and Libeccio are located on the front of the house, Tramontana, Mistral rear overlooking the hills.

daily cleaning, laundry, courtesy, Digital terrestrial TV and satellite TV, hairdryer, Room Tramontana Libeccio Grecale have a small refrigerator, individually controlled air conditioning, bed for children under two years free upon request we can organize fun recreational activities for children, in the dining room is available all day tea and coffee equipment, park luggage.

The surroundings:
The beach is five minutes away, where the Etruscans used to do their trade activities and where they used to live building Baratti, the only Etruscan necropolis situated on the coast. Baratti's bay with its transparent water, the beaches of the natural park of Rimigliano, the old towns like Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto, Castagneto Carducci, the closeness to historical cities like Firenze, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra (all reacheable within an hour or two of drive) and several natural parks make this area very inviting from spring throughout fall. Close to the villa (a few kilometres) the is the thermal centre 'Terme Valle del Sole' where waters spring at 46°C, the thermal lake Calidario' with its marvellous natural water massages, the tennis court, a horseback riding centre, diving centres and other sports activities.

How to reach us:
From Livorno or Grosseto: on the superstrada (high way) Livorno-Civitavecchia take the exit 'Venturina'. At the crossing of the exit with the stateway turn left and take the first street to the right to Suvereto (SS398). after a few kilometers you will reach Fattoria Lecceto.
